I’ve been busy with Things and life and work and chasing my awesome baby all over the house. In the midst of that, I made another Smitten Kitchen recipe: Brownie Roll Out Cookies. They were fun to make. Unfortunately, I didn’t take a lot of pictures.
A picture from the cookbook, the dry ingredients, and the wet ingredients.
They tasted fantastic, especially dipped in milk.
I was going to make a salad from the cookbook for my company Thanksgiving feast, but I lost track of time so I ended up not doing that. I think I will tackle one of the salad or vegetable dishes sometime this month though.
I also finished a book – The Weirdness by Jeremy P. Bushnell. I don’t know how to write about it without giving away too much, but I can tell you that it lives up to its title. It starts with a visit from Lucifer and a possible deal with the devil and goes to even weirder places. I enjoyed it, but I don’t think I’ll be keeping it on my shelf. It doesn’t have a lot of rereadability, but it’s a good book if you’re looking for a fun, quick read.
I did a few other Things in November that I’ll be writing about in upcoming posts.
